Psalm 125:1 | Trust in the Lord

They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever

Psalm 125:1

To trust in the Lord is the greatest blessing in this world. There is no trust equivalent to trust in God. When you trust God fully, you have everything. David believes that a person who trusts in God is like mount Zion, which cannot be removed. It means that person will not be distant, detached or aloof. One translation says, “He will not be shaken.” It means this person will not be upset, stunned, surprised, traumatized but abided forever.

A person who trusts in God cannot be shaken because he is grounded in the Lord.

His foundations are deep and strong. God wants us to be such men and women; to be strong and deeply rooted in the Lord and His Word.

A person who trusts in the Lord is stabl.

He is not shaky. He is not like the wind. He is not like dry leaves, which fly with the wind. He is not like chaff which goes with the wind. He is stable in his words and works. He is a true man. He is a man of action. He stands on his words.

A person who trusts in the Lord is visible.

As Mount Zion is visible from a distance, so such person is also visible in society, in his community, through his positive and harmonious, cooperative, lifestyle. Jesus said, that people may see your light. Let your light shine, so that the name of your heavenly Father may be glorified in heaven through your good deeds.

You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.

Matthew 5:14

People don’t light a lamp and put it under a basket but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

Matthew 5:15

In the same way, let your light shine before people in such a way that they will see your good actions and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:16

On the top of the mountain people experience cold air.

When we accept Christ, it is very soothing, comforting and refreshing. You can put all your burdens at the feet of Jesus.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1Peter 5:7

Although sometimes the sailing is rough and tough, life becomes hard and depressed, yet He is with you always. Jesus assured His disciples,

and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen

Matthew 28:20

There are uncountable content available on google about trust in the lord some of the examples are trust in the lord bible verse, trust in the lord with all your heart and trust in the lord devotion etc.

On the top of the mountain you experience dew.

When you are in close fellowship with the Lord and totally depend upon Him, you trust Him whole heartedly. You experience His divine dew, the freshness, and the newness. Morning dew helps the grass to grow and the grass becomes the feed of the cows, and the cows produce milk for the human beings, which is good for bones and health. Such a person becomes a source of blessing, comfort and strength for many.

Sometimes on the top of the mountain there are springs.

The water flows continuously and water is required for all human, animal, and plant life. There are also minerals hidden in some mountain springs. The mountains grow grass and trees. Good for lambs, which are used for sacrifice and for trees to grow which produce wood for the burnt sacrifice.

Trusting in the Lord has the element of many blessings and sacrifice.

Be Blessed.
