The water is the source of satisfaction.
A deer cannot live without water.
Water provides life.
Man’s total dependence on God.
Man has a deep desire for God.
There is no substitute for God.
Jesus is the true source of all satisfaction.
Let us pant for forgiveness.
Let us pant for love.
Let us pant for peace.
Let us pant for holiness.
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you;
My soul thirsts for you,
My body longs for you,
In a dry and weary land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1
I spread out my hands to you;
My soul thirsts for you like a parched land.
God is the only one who can satisfy the human heart.
Answer me quickly,
Oh Lord;
My spirit faints with longing.
Do not hide your face from me. Psalm 143:6-7
