But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
Isaiah 43:1, KJV
No doubt, this passage is an exciting and beautiful promise. God makes this promise with his people today, those who trust God and have faith in Him through the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Part One, we saw five great truths in this connection:
- I am Jehovah; there is no other to save you.
- I have delivered you.
- I have called you by your name.
- You are mine.
- Fear not.
Now let us come reason together to see five more points in the light of other verses in Isaiah chapter 43.
I am your Savior.
For I amthe LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy saviour: I gave Egypt forthy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee”.
Isaiah 43:3
I have saved you, delivered you and set you free. When you were in the hands of Satan the evil one, I did not spare My beloved Son; I sent Him into this sinful world for your sake. He by Himself is God… but for your sake, He became a human being so that He might reconcile you to Me. I deliver you; I set you free from fear, anxiety, accidents, unknown calamities, sudden death, financial crises, and social injustice. I deliver you from your sins.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12
That name is the name of my beloved Son Jesus. My Son is an incarnated salvation; He is salvation in the flesh.
Then old Simeon took Him and said,
For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
Luke 2:30-32
When My Son went into the house of Zacchaeus, He said,
This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
Luke 19:9
I have loved thee. You are Mine and I have called you by your name, I am Jehovah. As you will be passing through the negative and dark circumstances I will keep on delivering you. This deliverance is free to you.
After this, when my Son comes again into this world, or you go to Him, I will give you perfect rest because you are Mine, I love you. I will give you rest, I am Jehovah. I have delivered you, I have called you by your name; you are Mine. Fear not, I am your Savior; I am the One who, for My name’s sake, wipes away your sin.
I am the One, for My name’s sake, who wipes away your sin. (Isaiah 43:25)
I am Jehovah, I am God, I am Creator, and I am holy. I am omniscient, I know everything. I am omnipresent, I am present everywhere. I have all knowledge, nothing is hidden from Me; I know everything. Your heart is like an open book before Me, I can read everything that is in your heart.
I forgive your sins. I deliver you from your sins and I am the One who, for My name’s sake, wipes away your sins and they are never seen again. I erase the account of your sin in a wink of an eye. I set you wholly free because I love you. You are Mine and I will never remember your trespasses and wrong-doings. I am Jehovah, I have delivered you. I have called you by your name. You are Mine, fear not I am the One who, for the sake of My name, wipes away your sins, and will never remember your trespasses.
I will never remember your trespasses, iniquities, and wrong-doings.
I am not man that I always keep on remembering your sins. I have thrown your sins, trespasses, wrong-doings, and your evil works deep down into the depths of the ocean. I never recall them nor remember them. As far as east is away from west, in the same way I have thrown your sins. Your foe will come and he is also my foe.
I have defeated him on the cross, he will gradually come to you and quietly speak into your ears that your sins are not forgiven, he will say God knows and remember all your sins. He will make you fearful, and he will try to upset you, and make you anxious, but you should not be dismayed. He is a liar; he is the father of lies. In fact he is dismayed and discouraged because you have come out of his control and are now in the powerful, mighty, safe and secure hands of My Son Jesus.
Now you have come out of his army and you are a soldier in Jesus’s army. In fact, you are the enemy of the devil; that is why he is dismayed. Now don’t be disappointed, discouraged or dismayed because I have forgiven all your sins. I have saved you; I have wiped away your sins. I am Jehovah, I have delivered you. I have called you by your name. “You are Mine.” Fear not, I am your Savior. I wipe away your sins for My name’s sake. I will not remember your trespasses. You are precious in My sight.
You are precious in My sight.
I have created everything; all things came into existence just by My words. But when it was your turn to be created, I made you with My own hands and breathed or blew My breath of life into your nostrils and you became a living being. After that you chose to be disobedient, you fell into sin so I prepared clothes of skin to cover your nakedness (Genesis 3:21). This was a snapshot of the future time when My Son would come from heaven to be the sacrifice for your sake. He would cover your nakedness and open the door for your salvation.
You are so precious that I sent My Son into the world to arrange for your salvation. For your sake He said good bye to the heights of heaven and He came to the depths of this world.
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Philippians 2:6-8
He did all this because you are precious. I am Jehovah, I have delivered you. I have called you by your name. You are Mine. Fear not, I have delivered you. I wipe away your sins for My name’s sake. I will not remember your trespasses. You are precious in My sight…always remember that I am with you.
I am with you.
I abide with you because you are Mine. I protect you, I safeguard you; I guide you. I grant you boldness, and courage. I grant you wisdom, and insight… I teach you to discern good from evil. I grant you strength, and power. I encourage you, I grant you zeal. I warn you about the time to come. I get you out of your past bitterness and past bitter memories. I take care of your contentment and satisfaction. I remove your hurdles. My promises are unchangeable. I have made unchangeable promises to you.
Certainly I am with you. I am Jehovah; I have called you by your name. You are Mine. Fear not, I am your Savior. I have delivered you. I wipe away your sins for My name’s sake. I will not remember your iniquities. You are precious in My sight. Remember always, I am with you.
In the New Testament, before ascending to heaven, Jesus spoke these wonderful and comforting words:
Behold, I am with you till the end of the world, and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:20
How great are the promises of God the Father! And in the New Testament, Jesus makes the same promises to us.
Do you truly believe in these promises?
Are you in a position of doubt? Are you cynical?
What a beautiful and great truth this is, that the Creator and Master of this universe Himself says, “I am Jehovah, the Deliverer. I have delivered you; I have called you by your name. You are Mine. Fear not, I am your Savior, your Deliverer. I am the One who, for My name’s sake, wipes away your sins. I will not remember your iniquities. You are precious in My sight. I am with you.”
Dear ones, He loves us and desires a deep, intimate, and personal relationship with us. May our dear Lord grant us the grace to enjoy His divine and deep love, know and comprehend in a better way, the height, depth, length, and width of His divine agape love. May we be nourished and grow in our spiritual life and walk with Jesus.
