Dear Father in heaven! You take care of all creation. Heaven is Your store house of water. When You see that there is need to quench the thirst of the dry land, You command clouds to get together to fall on the land in the form of the water.
Water has life. Rain is a free gift for us. It is an essential ingredient for all life (human beings, animals, and plants) in existence. The rain brings greenery and life, hope and color, flowers and fruits, goodness and grains. Rain is life. Nothing can survive without rain. Help us to understand Your wisdom. May we learn to thank You for all Your blessings which you have bestowed upon us unconditionally. Rain is very refreshing.
I was in deep, I was drowned,
God’s Spirit, the Holy Spirit, is also like rain. The Holy Spirit resides in the heart of a believer. Sometimes the Holy Spirit is squelched, due to a believer’s disobedience. A man or woman feels that Holy Spirit is not working in their life. Actually the Holy Spirit is silent due to the disobedience of the believer! But when a believer confesses, God restores him. The Holy Spirit is activated, He is ignited. The Spirit works like rain. He refreshes us, makes us grow. He makes us joyful. We need the Holy Spirit for our instruction, guidance, growth, encouragement, education, rebuke and refreshment.
One resource from God is earthly rain, the other is spiritual rain. God the Father, through the Holy Spirit, irrigates our spirit so that our spiritual fruit can be produced.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith…
